Which 3 albums would you take on a desert island???

I was watching TV and the host asked this question to a band (terrible band...their answer was even worse)...anyway...I spent last hour trying to figure out...cause 3 is not enough...then 5 it's not enough either...so this question had me wasting an hour checking track listing's of my favorite bands...COMMENTS APPRECIATED, try to keep it 3.


The BEST AC/DC album by far...I don't care what you say...the best with Bon...
The worst album with Bon is 10 times better than the best with Brian.
This is the Aussie version.

How can you pick one among Exile, Beggars, Let it Bleed and Sticky Fingers...had to.

    Oh man, that's a really really hard question to answer....certainly I post 3, and afterwards remember that there are many more I did not consider.
    As of now I'd say:

    Metallica - Ride the Lightning
    Kyuss - ...And the Circus leaves Town
    Dire Straits - On Every Street

    Ah man, I have a bad feeling posting these 3 ;)

    tricky question...seems so easy but as soon as you write the 3 albums down you start having second thoughts...i left out maiden, metallica, sabbath, motorhead, etc, etc!!!

    3 is most definitely not enough but I'll go with The Clash- London Calling
    (is it ok if it's a double album ?) Social Distortion- Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell and Nick Cave-Tender Prey.
