Sunday
at the Owl's nest
one happy camper!
So easy to take phone pics while riding at 55mph:
1. simply take it off your very tight denim pant's pockets...
2. slide to unlock it...
3. enter you password...
4. click the camera icon...
5. aim and shoot...
(hope you don't hit a pot hole without your hands on the bars...try not to drop the phone or hit the car in front while you're checking it)
almost done...

SPECIAL EDITIONS for 2012 - PLEASE READ BELOW
Every month from now on we'll have SPECIAL EDITON LINERS...1 of 1, rare fabrics, different fabrics, leather, suede, satin, wool, fur and anything else I can find that has never been done before or that looks just great...special stuff...They will be available on the SPECIAL EDITION LINERS link. Just click on the "plaid/joe king logo" pic on the right.
I might do more than one (of the same kind if necessary) but I'll try to keep it one-of -a-kind...the idea is to have unique pieces. I'll post 2 or 3 new liners each month on the SPECIAL EDITION LINERS gallery.
I recommend solid color helmets for these special liners.
This one above was made of 100% Scottish Tartan Wool. That's Clan RAMSAY colors. Make sure to check the Scottish Tartans because there are tons of cool options.
Please email me if you have any questions, a fabric that you want to use (let's see if it works...it has to be comfortable otherwise it's pointless to use it), or anything else.

RAD GIFT!!!
Yesterday I got this super cool knife from my buddy Snickers...
This knife is so simple and so beautiful...beechwood handle, super sharp tempered high carbon steel blade. It has A LOT of history behind it...see below:
Originally sold as a simple working man's knife, the Opinel has since become an iconic symbol of French culture and lifestyle.Pablo Picasso used an Opinel to carve his sculptures, while Roger Frison-Roche, the Savoyard alpine guide and mountaineer, never made an ascent without carrying an Opinel along.Éric Tabarly, the long-distance solo sailor and yachtsman, swore by the Opinel, which he always carried aboard his sailing yacht, the Pen Duick.
